About Sophie

Sophie is a positive, caring and organised member of the Hamilton Island Weddings team. This is her second time on the island, after loving it so much the first time she had to come back!

With a background in organising large scale corporate events and hotel supervision, Sophie thrives in fast-paced environments and this helps her ensure your day runs as seamlessly as possible – leaving you to soak up the special moments.

Outside of work, she often visits her family back on the Gold Coast, or all the way over in Sweden. This has allowed her to see much of Europe; although please don’t ask her to speak the language because you might be in for a fright…

Sophie’s favourite place on earth is Dent Island’s Clubhouse for a long lunch, or One Tree Hill for sunset. Sophie loves finding magic in the simple things like a sunset, some fairy lights or a beautifully presented cheese platter.
