Below are the details of what’s included in the Hamilton Island Weddings Fee, after that’s paid, you are free to pick and choose the products & services you require for your special day.

Hamilton Island Wedding Fee

The wedding fee is payable for all weddings utilising Hamilton Island for their wedding and covers a host of inclusions.

$2,250 Monday – Thursday / $2,750 Friday – Sunday
Non-refundable deposit of $2,000 is payable to secure your ceremony date & time

Booking through Hamilton Island Weddings

All weddings hosted on Hamilton Island are booked through Hamilton Island Weddings, we have a limited number of ceremony times per day to ensure no one wedding or island event is impacted by another. Generally, only one wedding will take place on Hamilton Island at one time.

Ensuring that you have priority use of your ceremony location and required facilities, so no other island guest or wedding couple’s plans will impact on your special day.

Choose between All Saints Chapel, Chapel Gardens, Catseye Beach, One Tree Hill or even your own accommodation – or upgrade to Whitehaven Beach, Yacht Club, Outrigger Lawn or Hamilton Island Golf Club.

Personal Wedding Planner

To assist you as much as or as little as you need during the planning stages and on your wedding day, and to attend to the behind the scenes administrative work required for every wedding on Hamilton Island.  From the time you book, regular phone meetings will be scheduled between you and your Personal Wedding Planner. Pre-Ceremony Transfers

Arrive to your ceremony in style and comfort. Both the groom and the bride will be collected separately from their accommodation and delivered to the ceremony location.

All HIW wedding couples and all their guests receive a 10% accommodation discount on Hamilton Island’s great range of hotel properties including Reef View, Beach Club and Palm Bungalows. (T&C and blackout dates apply)

Bridal Couple Room Credit

As a special thank you all HIW wedding couples staying in Hamilton Island Hotel properties receive a special $150.00 room credit when they book (directly with HIH) a minimum 2 night stay!

All weddings held on Hamilton Island need to be booked through Hamilton Island Weddings, this is to ensure that your wedding won’t be affected by any other wedding, conference, function or guest event on Hamilton Island, and vice-versa.

Your wedding is a very important day, and there is a lot to think about. That’s why on Hamilton Island, Hamilton Island Weddings is the central point where all things “weddings” are organised.

During the planning process we may put you in direct touch with some suppliers, however these suppliers are trusted professionals who will always feedback the relevant information to your Wedding Planner, to ensure all the details are coming together as they should.

Request an information pack

If you haven’t already, complete our Request Information form so we can send you our full information pack via email.

There’s lots of important things to know about getting married, your wedding and Hamilton Island, and we want to make sure you don’t miss out on a thing.

Choose a Ceremony Location & Reception Venue

Step 3.

Choose a Ceremony Date & Time

Follow the link below to request availability of your preferred ceremony date & time. Remember… every day is a Saturday on Hamilton Island.

Click here to complete your booking online

Once you have received written advice that your ceremony time, ceremony location and reception venue are all available, and you have checked accommodation availability, complete the online booking form. You will then be issued with a pre-payment request for the wedding fee deposit and (if applicable) your venue deposit. The wedding fee deposit is required to secure your booking, and the venue deposit will have payment terms of 14 days to secure your reception venue.

Check Accommodation Pricing & Availability

Hamilton Island is a very popular destination, it’s important to make sure there will be enough accommodation for you and your guests. Oh, and don’t forget,  you and all your guests receive 10% off selected Hamilton Island hotel accommodation when you book direct. *Conditions and blackout dates apply, subject to availability.

Final Step!

Pay Non-Refundable Wedding Fee Deposit

Once your pre-payment request has been issued, please pay your wedding deposit.

This will confirm your wedding ceremony date and time, and you will be allocated your personal Wedding Planner.

Your Wedding Planner will contact you to introduce themselves and explain how the planning process works from now, until your wedding date.

From time to time it may be necessary for your Wedding Planner to change during the planning process, however where possible we try to maintain the same Planner for you.

Important Information

We strongly advise against sending any invites or making any travel arrangements until you have completed your booking process, and received your written confirmation from us advising of your confirmed wedding plans (including separate written confirmations that your preferred ceremony location and reception venue are also booked and your required deposits have been paid).

Confirmation of your wedding date and time, ceremony location and reception venue does not constitute the availability of any other products, services or island resources, unless specifically requested by you and individual booking confirmations have been received by you from Hamilton Island Weddings in writing.
