Catseye Beach is one of Hamilton Island’s most popular outdoor ceremony locations, boasting an iconic Whitsunday setting. With the sand underfoot and a cool sea breeze behind you, a Catseye Beach ceremony will truly complete your Hamilton Island wedding.
The exact location of your ceremony on Catseye Beach varies depending on time of year, tides, time of day and a number of other variables. Your exact ceremony location will be advised during your pre-wedding meeting.
Our styling company AVPartners offer limited chair quantity at this location, due to logistics for set up.
Catseye Beach is beautiful at both low and high tide, however most couples prefer high tide for their ceremony. The images in the gallery below will assist you in deciding if low or high tide suits you best. Remember, low and high tide times change each day so please check the tide times using the links below.
Please note that the height of low and high tide varies day to day. The below images provide an example of how low, high and in-between tides may look, however the actual height of the tides of any one day will also impact on this.
Please note that unless staying at the Beach Club resort, you and your guests are not able to access Catseye Beach through the Beach Club reception or lounge. Please ensure your guests are aware that access points to Catseye Beach include via the front of Sails Restaurant, or via the beach access pathway at the Beach Pavilion.
We recommend you include a copy of the Catseye Beach access map in your invites to guests to ensure they are aware of the correct access points.
