Jan Harvey

Jan-Harvey-box

Jan is no longer taking any new weddings in the Whitsundays and has decided to focus her time in her new home on the Sunshine Coast.

I love being a Marriage Celebrant and always feel so privileged to be part of such an emotional and happy moment as a couple being married or renewing their marriage vows. Since my registration in 2009, I have officiated over 1400 ceremonies, and each ceremony is made special and memorable by my couple, and the journey we have taken together to get to your wedding day.

There is nothing better than seeing you and your guests smile, laugh, cry (happy tears of course) hug and clap during a ceremony, showing that everyone is fully involved and loving being there. Or standing with an eloping couple, seeing them totally absorbed in each other and the words of their ceremony. No matter the size or type of ceremony, I will do everything I can to ensure that your ceremony is exactly what you hoped for.
I work with you, writing your ceremony especially for you, perfectly capturing your relationship story, and I provide you with a wide range of ideas and samples which help you choose your vows, readings and other ceremony parts, allowing you to truly reflect your tastes and personality. I am only a phone call or email away, and always happy to answer any questions you may have along the way. I will also ensure that all legal documentation is completed and lodged, and I provide you with the specially prepared booklet used during your ceremony.

As your celebrant, I will ensure that the preparation for your special day will be organised, enjoyable and stress free, and that your ceremony will be personal, romantic, warm and relaxed, ….perfectly presented, and perfect for you.

How do I book my celebrant?

For more information or to request availability of a particular Celebrant or Religious Officiator, please contact your wedding coordinator.

What happens if my celebrant needs to stay on the island overnight?

In the case that your ceremony time requires that your celebrant or officiator will miss the last transfer back to the mainland, they will be required to stay on the island overnight. In these cases, any accommodation and overnight costs will be payable by you.
