Hello, my name is Donna Fornasiero also known as The Sailing Celebrant on media, a friendly, genuine very experienced Civil Marriage Celebrant and Yacht Captain in the wonderful Whitsundays.

Moving here in 2000 to work as a commercial boat skipper, I fell in love with the beautiful scenery, turquoise blue waters & magical atmosphere of serenity. I have officiated up to a thousand weddings and ceremonies in the Whitsundays, most states of Australia & beautiful Hamilton Island

As a vibrant modern celebrant totally dedicated to making your day memorable, my back ground in yachting has provided me with the excellent skills of listening & communicating.

I’m a hopeless romantic & always had a passion for writing. Skilled at creating and designing a beautiful wedding ceremony that express’s the personal style and needs of every loving couple, let me assist you; tell your story and express what your trying to say your way.

Having high regards to the little and big details, where the photographer is, the ring shot, making sure your father gives you a big kiss before he passes you across to your husband or wife (yes I do support Marriage Equality), all those little things that make your special day so very memorable.

Couples often tell me I have a very warm calming relaxed presence and it is always so nice to hear a couple say they are so excited to meet me.
