About Michelle

Michelle is a fun, caring and driven person who prides herself on creating an extraordinary experience for all of her couples throughout their wedding experience on Hamilton Island. Combining her creativity and experience in the events industry, Michelle’s attention to detail and ability to bring her couples vision to life is incredible.

Coming from a Swedish background, Michelle loves to go back to her roots and visit her family in Sweden. She has been lucky enough to travel to some of the world’s most beautiful destinations including the Cinque Terre and the Great Wall of China.

Michelle’s artistic eye first evolved from her family holidays, where she fell in love with the breathtaking natural beauty of the world, as well as historic buildings and architecture. She believes that everything happens for a reason, which is something her Dad taught her many years ago. Michelle’s family and friends are extremely important to her, as well as animals. Michelle has previously volunteered at animal welfare charities such as the RSPCA.

Meeting new couples and working with them to create such a special day is something that Michelle adores about her job. She prides herself on giving her clients the best possible experience and feels that there is nothing better than seeing a bride and groom ‘stress-free’ on their wedding day. When she is not in the office, Michelle loves spending her days off exploring the island with friends, relaxing in the sun by the pool, or visiting her favourite thing about the Whitsundays – Whitehaven beach.

Michelle’s creative side allows her to bring her clients visions to life whilst shaping and guiding her couples through one of the most important days of their lives. Michelle can’t wait to start planning your special day and to welcome you to Hamilton Island.
