Eliza Byrne

Eliza is an enthusiastic and knowledgeable member of the Hamilton Island Weddings team who strives to make a positive impact on your wedding planning journey. Having previously worked at the Tour Desk, Eliza has a wealth of island knowledge and is an invaluable asset to the Weddings team.

When she is not in the office, you will find Eliza camping in some of the local hidden gems or out on the water swimming and fishing. She is very adventurous and loves exploring the island and it surroundings.

Eliza has a strong background in corporate events in the bustling city of Sydney, which is where she is from. Her family is important to her, especially her twin sister, and she regularly travels back home to spend time with them.

Eliza’s favourite island activity is snorkelling on Catseye Beach at low tide, hoping to spot some turtles. If she were to get married on Hamilton island she would choose to have her Ceremony at the Chapel Gardens followed by a reception as the sun sets on the Beach pavilions lawns.

Eliza finds that being the first point of contact for couples is such a special and rewarding experience.
