Your wedding day is the day that you will treasure forever and is uniquely your own. My name is Deanna McKeowen and it would be an honour to be chosen as your celebrant for your special day on Hamilton Island.
I have officiated at over 1500 weddings in the Whitsunday area with one of the most memorable being the marriage of sunrise star Grant Denyer to his beautiful wife Cheryl at exclusive qualia resort on Hamilton Island.
As your celebrant I will be able to offer you a selection of readings, vows, poems and other ideas to create your unique, modern and moving ceremony. I am deeply committed to making this ceremony one that you and your guests will not forget for the rest of your lives.
I describe myself as a warm, friendly and genuine person. I will conduct your ceremony with the highest standards of ethics and professional integrity. I will be sincere and dress appropriately and provide you with a copy of your ceremony as your keepsake of the special promises made to each other.

How do I book my celebrant?
For more information or to request availability of a particular Celebrant or Religious Officiator, please contact your wedding coordinator.
What happens if my celebrant needs to stay on the island overnight?
In the case that your ceremony time requires that your celebrant or officiator will miss the last transfer back to the mainland, they will be required to stay on the island overnight. In these cases, any accommodation and overnight costs will be payable by you.
