Yacht Club Ceremony
Location One – Flag Deck
If you’re planning to have your reception at the Hamilton Island Yacht Club, the Flag Deck may be the perfect choice. Suitable for smaller seated ceremonies or medium sized standing ceremonies, the Flag Deck is the venue’s premier viewing platform, cantilevering out over the ocean. Your view is an unbroken 180 degrees from north to south, spanning the entire length of Dent Passage.
- The Yacht Club Flag Deck is only available for 4pm ceremony time slots.
- Please refer to the current flight arrival schedule when requesting your ceremony time to ensure landing flights do not affect your wedding ceremony. Please note, flight schedules are subject to regular change and are out of Hamilton Island’s control.
- The Yacht Club Flag Deck has a ceremony location fee of $200 and can only be utilised if your reception is also being held at the Yacht Club.
- The Flag Deck has a maximum capacity of 50 chairs with standing space at the back for 100 people.
Location Two – Bommie Deck
The Bommie Deck is one of Hamilton Island’s most exclusive ceremony locations. Due to its size, this venue is best suited to larger seated groups and requires extensive set up for your ceremony. As the Bommie Deck is usually operated as a bar, the use of the venue as a ceremony location requires the bar to be closed and therefore additional charges apply.
As a guide, the minimum cost for this venue to be utilised for your ceremony, would be the payment of the minimum spend, currently $10,000. However final price is on application and various conditions apply.
