YACHT CLUB – FLAG DECK

If you’re planning to have your reception within the Yacht Club, the Flag Deck may be the perfect choice, suiting smaller seated ceremonies or medium sized standing ceremonies, the Flag Deck is the venue’s premier viewing platform, cantilevering out over the ocean, your view is an unbroken 180 degrees from north to south the entire length of Dent Passage.

Please note:
Some locations including but not limited to the Golf Club require specific permission from applicable General Managers for certain styling options.
Additional transport costs may be incurred for locations such as Golf Club & Whitehaven Beach & some limitations may apply.

  • Complimentary use for Wedding Ceremony if you have sole use of Ketch &/or Cutter Rooms or Bommie Deck.
  • Ceremony times are requested and confirmed case by case.
  • Please refer to the current flight arrival schedule when requesting your ceremony time to ensure landing flights do not affect your wedding ceremony. Please note: Flight schedules are subject to regular change and are out of Hamilton Island’s control.
  • A ceremony fee will apply for a ceremony at the Flag Deck when the reception is being held in the Private Dining Room or Black Coral Room.
  • The wet weather option for this location is the All Saints Chapel.
  • Please note that this location is a public area and used for guests to access Bommie Deck and the guest amenities.
  • You are most welcome to fly a flag on the permanent flag pole. Please liaise with your Wedding Coordinator for more terms and conditions.

Flag Deck can only be used if your reception has been booked in the Ketch & Cutter Rooms. Conditions & additional location fees may apply

The Flag deck has a maximum capacity of 50 chairs with standing space at the back for 100 people.
