About Tim and CarolynTim and Carolyn are both from the South Coast of New South Wales and met through a mutual friend. After five years together, they decided to tie the knot this year. The ProposalTim proposed to Carolyn in Paris, and popped the question under the Eiffel Tower during a dinner cruise on the River Seine. He timed it perfectly as the strobe lights of the Tower were flashing above them, at precisely 11pm. Why tim & Carolyn chose Hamilton IslandCarolyn says it was "the wonderful and professional service of Hamilton Island Weddings consultants and the other staff on the island" that appealed to them. Hamilton Island was able to provide great service and professionalism while still providing the relaxed and casual atmosphere they were looking for in their small wedding. Ceremony locationAs Christians, Tim and Carolyn felt the All Saints Chapel, with its spectacular water views and traditional feel, was the perfect choice for their ceremony location. Photo & Video locationsAs Tim and Carolyn were staying at the Beach Club Resort, they chose to take advantage of the amazing surroundings provided by the pool and gardens there. They also chose to have photos on Catseye Beach and One Tree Hill due to the stunning blues and picturesque backdrop. Carolyn says "all our family and friends have told us they have never seen photos as beautiful as ours, and that Paul has perfectly captured the happiness in their eyes". Tim and Carolyn felt overall the photo locations on Hamilton Island are simply unequalled. Carolyn says her favourites are the candid shots, especially the moments captured on the beach with the parasol. reception venueTim and Carolyn chose The Beach Front Deck at Toucan Tango Cafe & Bar for their reception. They say they chose this location due to its beach and ocean views and relaxed, casual atmosphere. They wanted something special for their family and friends to enjoy as so many of them had made a huge effort to come and celebrate with them. They were both very impressed with the quality of the service and fantastic food, and make special note of the canapes. The honeymoonTim and Carolyn chose to stay at the Beach Club on Hamilton Island after their wedding day, which they say was fabulous. After enjoying a short honeymoon with family and friends on Hamilton Island, they then headed for Dunk Island, and topped the two weeks off with a trip to Palm Cove.
