What an exciting time of your life…

Planning your wedding, renewing your vows or arranging a commitment ceremony and having the choice of beautiful locations such as Hamilton Island and Whitehaven Beach.

Hi, my name is Paul Skinner and I’m originally from a small country town called Melbourne. I have lived here in the beautiful Whitsundays for the past 15 years and very happy to call this area my home. I have a fun and easy going personality and have what I think is a great sense of humour. Even with my relaxed approach I am extremely professional in what I do.
For many years I have been known locally as an MC and host of corporate events, charity balls, fundraisers and tourism grand openings. I strive to input some humour and make these events entertaining and memorable. It is a real privilege for me to be involved in any special occasion and I am very fortunate to be entrusted with these roles.

I would love to be involved and help create a memorable ceremony for you and your partner.
Large groups or a small intimate ceremony. Fun, serious or a perfect balance of emotion and humour. It is your day and together we can design a beautiful and meaningful ceremony, exactly how you want it.
I appreciate the opportunity to talk with you and I am very excited to potentially be chosen as your celebrant. Even though you may not live locally, please rest assured that myself and the professional team here at Hamilton Island Weddings are happy to assist in making your special day a complete success.

How do I book my celebrant?

For more information or to request availability of a particular Celebrant or Religious Officiator, please contact your wedding coordinator.

What happens if my celebrant needs to stay on the island overnight?

In the case that your ceremony time requires that your celebrant or officiator will miss the last transfer back to the mainland, they will be required to stay on the island overnight. In these cases, any accommodation and overnight costs will be payable by you.
