Congratulations on your upcoming wedding, as well as your decision to have your big day on beautiful Hamilton Island.

Your wedding day should be an individual reflection of your love and dedication to each other, your attitude to life and you and your partner’s personalities and relationship.

While there are some legal requirements with regards to the ceremony, the majority of it may be crafted in a way that expresses who the two of you are.  The ceremony can be as casual or as formal, as short or as long, or as light-hearted and even theatrical as you desire.

I can assist in the formation of your wedding ceremony script by providing resources such as samples of different wording for the vows and readings etc.  Working together, we can create the type of wedding ceremony that will meet all your expectations, and be uniquely yours.  There is no limit to the number of times we can be in contact in order to ensure we get things exactly right.

I complete all the legal paperwork and process it for you, so your day is as trouble-free as possible.  I will also provide you with a commemorative copy of your ceremony as a keepsake.

This is your special day to show your family and friends the commitment you have for each other, and I would love to help make your aspirations a reality.

I have lived in the Whitsundays since 1995.  Prior to this, I was a lecturer/teacher at a tertiary level, specialising in fitness, health and safety training.  I have also had extensive guest speaker experience to corporate, sporting and leisure groups.

Having spent most of my adult life dealing with the expectations of adult students, I have no hesitation in saying I can meet your expectations as well, irrespective of the style of wedding you have in mind.

My friends typically describe my personality and outlook as vibrant and gregarious, and I like to think of myself as fun-loving, adventurous and genuine.

Testimonals:

“We are so happy that we had you as our celebrant. Your presentation, speech and mannerisms were just perfect.  You even made me forget that Angela was late for the wedding, since we were all having such a good chat down the front!”
(Aaron and Angela Taylor-Round)

“You were great and provided a beautiful service for us. As you know, our wedding was different as we didn’t have any family or friends with us and so the role of the celebrant (you) was even more important to us.”
(Adam and Janet Kay)

“You made the whole process very simple and easy.  You allowed us to make the ceremony our own and incorporate our own sense of humour into the ceremony to make just a little more relaxed and put us both at ease.  It really did turn out to be everything that we wanted.”
(Trent and Sandra Lacostro)

“Just want to say thanks for a lovely ceremony, a lot of people commented how lovely it was so thanks for your help with everything.”
(David and Laura O’Riorden)

How do I book my celebrant?

For more information or to request availability of a particular Celebrant or Religious Officiator, please contact your wedding coordinator.

What happens if my celebrant needs to stay on the island overnight?

In the case that your ceremony time requires that your celebrant or officiator will miss the last transfer back to the mainland, they will be required to stay on the island overnight. In these cases, any accommodation and overnight costs will be payable by you.
